Dr. Jack Dillenberg attended the Deans’ Institute in Newburg, Oregon. This year the focus of the institute was on interprofessional education (IPE). Nationally recognized speakers brought the deans up to date on the critical issues facing the integration of IPE into the dental school environment It became very clear that an integrated approach to health care delivery will be essential to cutting costs and improving quality and access to care in the future.

Deans from around the country enjoyed the facilities at the beautiful new Allison Inn and Spa. The hotel was designed and constructed under the loving direction of Joan Austin the wife of Ken Austin, founder of A-DEC (Dental Equipment Company) of Newburg, Oregon.
