Dr. Jack receives recognition for his career in Public Health Leadership from Dr. Neil Demby.
The week began with Dr. Jack Dillenberg presenting at the NYU Lutheran Faculty Development meeting. His focus was on the leadership skills required to compliment clinical skills as oral health becomes more integrated with primary health care.
Former Harvard dental student, Dr. George Acs and colleague Dr. Mariella Stefano, join Dr. Jack at the NYU Lutheran Faculty Development Meeting.
He also discussed the importance of providing care to special needs patients including the elderly and those with medically complex conditions. NYU surprised Dr. Jack with an award recognizing his career of public health leadership.
Dr. Jack joins Dr. Hal Slavkin and Dr. Myron Allukian after Dr. Slavkin’s presentation.
Monday morning, Dr. Jack Dillenberg gave the keynote address at the National Network for Oral Health Access (NNOHA) plenary session to over 800 participants at the 25th Anniversary celebration of NNOHA.
Dr. Jack received the ADA Presidential Award from ADA President Dr. Gary Roberts.
Dr. Jack receives the NNOHA Lifetime Achievement award from the executive director, Phillip Thompson and Dr. Janet Bozzone, President of NNOHA.
Later that evening, he received their Lifetime Achievement Award at their award gala.
UNM Pre-dental club invited Dr. Jack to speak in Albuquerque.
The following day, Dr. Jack Dillenberg flew to Albuquerque to visit with the University of New Mexico pre-dental student club. On Thursday, he flew to San Diego to present at the UCSD Community Dentistry Faculty Development course for dental faculty.
Faculty participants in the UCSD Community dentistry faculty development course welcome Dr. Jack as one of their guest speakers.
On his way to UCSD, Dr. Jack ran into two ASDOH alums at the airport.
The week ended with Dr. Jack celebrating Veterans Day as a former Navy dentist.
