In the midst of winter, Dr. Jack Dillenberg braved freezing temperatures during a recent Chicago trip where he attended a reception to honor Don MacKenzie, the former board member of Oral Health America (OHA) and leader in the dental health industry. He also attended the OHA gala as a former board member, which gave Dean Dillenberg an opportunity to see friends he had worked with in the past. The next morning, he attended a breakfast sponsored by Stanley Bergman, Henry Shein’s CEO, along with other dental educators, to hear Henry Shein’s vision for dentistry in the digital age.
A few days later, Dr. Jack Dillenberg flew to San Diego to give the keynote address at the Sixth Annual “Catch the Wave†pre-health professional conference sponsored by the San Diego State University. Two hundred pre-health professional undergraduate students seeking to get into the health profession attended.
From there, Dr. Jack Dillenberg was whisked away to attend the official ribbon cutting for the ASDOH-ATSU adult special care clinic at the King-Chavez Health Center. San Diego’s mayor and county supervisor chairman were in attendance along with other health dignitaries and local health professionals.
