The week began with Dr. Jack Dillenberg being nominated and confirmed as a board member of the new not-for-profit Brighterway Institute. Brighterway enhances the lives of community members with their whole person health approach to wellness. The institute has three dental centers and is led by Dr. Kris Volcheck.
Pastor David Wade met with Dr. Jack Dillenberg and Heather Johnson to discuss engaging his church in community oral health prevention activities for his parishioners. Â In addition, D1 student Chisom Chukwu plans to work with Pastor Wade to promote dentistry as a viable career for his black parishioners and help address the diversity issue in dentistry.
Dr. Jack Dillenberg also met with Michael Chang to finalize plans for the ASDOH alumni event at the ADA meeting in Denver on Saturday, October 22 at the Embassy Suites in downtown Denver. All ASDOH alum are encouraged to attend.
After a busy week, Dr. Jack and Jamie had a chance to participate in several Jerome festivities.
