Dr. Jack Dillenberg attended the Greater New York Dental Meeting, which had over 50,000 registered including 12,000 dentists from over 120 countries. During the meeting, he and Dr. Tony Hashemian gave presentations on Text2Floss, which included two international broadcasts of the program—one in English and the other in Spanish. Over 200 attended both sessions live in New York. Dr. Jack was also inducted into the International Academy for Dental Facial Esthetics at a wonderful event at the Harmonie Club.
In addition, he attended an alumni dinner for the Harvard School of Dental Medicine seeing old friends and former students. As the week concluded, Dr. Jack Dillenberg spent two days participating in the Alliance for Oral Health Across Borders Conference/Workshop. Other attendees included faculty, student ambassadors and dental industry
representatives who have the goal of achieving peace through understanding and tolerance through improving oral health. The student ambassadors represented areas in conflict and hope to attract more students and young faculty to help achieve the Alliance Mission.
Finally, on a personal note, Dr. Jack got to visit with his oldest friend, Howard Marks and share some fond remembrances of their fifty-five years of friendship.
