The week began with Dr. Jack speaking at the National Dental Association (NDA) forum on increasing oral health equity for underrepresented minorities in the US. ASDOH’s commitment to recruiting, retaining and supporting American Indians impressed the audience.
That evening he met with Ron Pollack, CEO of Families USA, the largest advocacy group for health of the underserved. They discussed developing a strategy to include oral health services in Medicare. The following morning Dr. jack Dillenberg went to NYC to celebrate Stanley and Marianne Bergman’s service to global peace and oral health at the 90th Anniversary Scopus Award Gala held at the New York Public Library.
