Dr. Jack Dillenberg returns to Middle East to assist Syrian refugees

Dr. Jack Dillenberg, accompanied by Assistant Dean for Surgery, Dr. Sabah Kalamchi, to join other healthcare providers in Jordan. Additionally, Dr. Othman Shibley from the University of Buffalo School of Dentistry, and plastic surgeons from France, Germany and Kuwait provided needed services for victims of trauma. The government of Kuwait has generously supported and coordinated the dental services provided at the refugee camp and are building a hospital at the camp.

While there, Dr. Jack Dillenberg and Dr. Sabah Kalamchi attended a dinner hosted in the home of the Kuwaiti Ambassador to Jordan. The dinner was a great opportunity for the providers and leaders from Kuwait, Jordan and Saudi Arabia to share thoughts and suggestions for addressing the health needs of the refugees.
