Dr. Jack Dillenberg goes to Ethiopia with Pacific Dental Services

The Smile Foundation of Pacific Dental Services (PDS) sponsored a service trip to northeast Ethiopia. Steve Thorne, PDS CEO, invited Dr. Jack Dillenberg to participate with the group  providing oral health services to the people of the Tigray region. Dr. Jack Dillenberg advised the leadership of the Mekele University and also presented a short inspirational talk to their medical students.

While there, Dr. Jack Dillenberg also assisted the PDS providers in caring  for the patients. Many had lived with toothaches for extended periods of time and were appreciative and grateful for the care. Dr. Jack said, “PDS dentists and staff were compassionate, hard-working and  committed to helping the people of the Mekele community.  It was a pleasure working with them.” The team under the leadership of Steve Thorne worked diligently to serve the needs of the community.
