After a day off to celebrate MLK Day, Dr. Jack Dilllenberg started his week with many meetings including attending the ATSU Strategic Planning Town Hall on the Mesa campus to review ATSU’s vision for the future. On Thursday, he attended the Hero Healers lunch which featured Dr. Isaac Navarro, graduate of ASDOH’s second class and current dental director in the Family Health Network FQHC in Visalia, Calif.
The next day , Dr. Jack Dillenberg gave an update on ASDOH to the Board and was delighted by their positive feedback and encouragement to continue the innovative initiatives underway. That evening, he attended the Board reception and dinner honoring the 20th Anniversary of the Arizona School of Health Sciences. ASDOH has been proud to collaborate with the ASHS programs in developing the interprofessional education model.
Dr. Jack ended the week by welcoming 50 pre-dental students attending the ASDA pre-dental day workshop. It was an enthusiastic group of aspiring health professionals.
