The heat doesn’t hinder the enthusiasm of both ASDOH students and faculty as the new school year begins. The D2 students achieved a 92% pass rate on part 1 of their National Boards. The new D1 students are fully engaged in their basic science modules and enjoy the innovative teaching style of Dr. Wayne Cottam in head and neck anatomy. The changes in ASDOH’s clinical management has proven successful by enhancing patient scheduling and billing. Planning is being finalized for the upcoming Faculty Advance being held on September 11.

Dr. Jack Dillenberg continues to provide leadership to the Arizona Oral Health Work Group sponsored by the Department of Health Services as well as his participation on the Southeast Maricopa County First Things First Council.
