ASDOH receives Education Program of the Year Award

Early March, Dr. Jack Dillenberg returned to Washington DC to attend his final meeting as a member of the Association for Prevention, Teaching and Research (APTR) board; he has served on the board for four years. While there, he accepted the APTR Education Program of the Year Award on behalf of ASDOH.

On behalf of ASDOH, Dr. Jack Dillenberg receives the Public Health Educator Program of the Year award from APTR.

In addition, Dr. Jack Dillenberg had the opportunity to visit with Ron Pollack, an old-time friend and Executive Director of Families USA, to discuss their current political agenda for health care reform. While in DC, he stopped by the headquarters of the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO) to see where ASDOH students spend summer rotations working on projects and gaining global oral health policy experience and visited with Dr. Saskia Estupinan, PAHO, Oral Health Chief.
