ASDOH 2013 graduation takes place in downtown Phoenix

The ASDOH graduation celebration began with the Founders Ball on Thursday, June 6, the night before graduation. The Founders Ball was held for the first time at the Sheraton Hotel in downtown Phoenix. The venue was beautiful and the band TreJa Vu played the background and dance music too. Generous donors, faculty and staff sponsored the students and their guests who enjoyed a wonderful evening of celebration.

During the evening the 2013 class leaders showed three videos produced by the graduating class that depicted their four years at ASDOH. One of the videos was a “thank you” video that showed their appreciation to the faculty, staff and administration who guided them through their four years of dental education.

The following afternoon graduation took place at the beautiful Orpheum theater in downtown Phoenix. The recently restored theater was beautiful and the event was a very emotional one. The keynote speaker for the graduation was Dr. Claude Earl Fox, a former administrator of the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) in the Federal Department of Health and Human Services. He is a world recognized public health leader and advocate for improving access to care for the underserved in the United States. The graduation was a wonderful success and appreciated by all.
